Risk management is an increasingly relevant area for companies that want to ensure their competitiveness and sustainability in a global and uncertain market. In this sense, RMP – Risk Management Projects, received a visit from ADRITEM’s Management and local technical team, composed of Mr. President Emídio Sousa, Mr. António Luís Grifo, Eng.ª Teresa Pouzada, Filipe Honório, Joana Vilar and Marta Gomes, on the 14th of June.
The visit aimed to get to know the work of RMP, which operates at STARTIN Canedo, an innovation and entrepreneurship center located in Santa Maria da Feira, one of the most dynamic and industrial municipalities in the country. RMP has a multidisciplinary team that develops innovative projects in the area of risk management, such as Control to Risk, an online platform that allows companies to monitor and manage their risks in an integrated and efficient way.
ADRITEM, in turn, is an entity that supports the development of companies and rural territories in the North region, through financing instruments and support for employment and entrepreneurship, such as +CO3SO Employment. This program, co-financed by NORTE 2020, by the European Social Fund and by FEADER – European Agricultural and Rural Development Fund, aims to stimulate the creation of qualified jobs and investment in strategic areas for regional development.
The visit was an opportunity to share experiences, challenges and opportunities between the two entities, which have in common the mission of promoting innovation, competitiveness and sustainability of companies and territories. It was also a way of recognizing RMP’s role as a reference company in the area of risk management, which has contributed to the valuation of several national companies.
