TOP 10 Risks – Risk Report in Portugal for 2024

The climate of uncertainty of the last four years promises to continue to destabilize the global economic market in 2024. The unpredictability that has characterized this last decade has not only challenged the traditional foundations of the market, but has also forced organizations to reevaluate and restructure the way they manage risk . Faced with a volatile landscape, there is an urgent need to understand and adopt risk-based thinking, adopting innovative approaches to navigate the turbulent waters of global uncertainty.

 

The e-book TOP 10 Risks 2024: Beyond Uncertainty aimed to create a list of strategic risks for organizations in 2024, as well as identifying other potential risk events that, despite being less relevant, should be continuously monitored. To this end, a group of 43 universal risks was established, from which 17 risks were obtained, whose observation frequencies showed a higher applicability relevance than the others. In this new risk database, research was carried out among Portuguese managers, with the aim of: analyzing the market’s perception of the relevance of these risks; carry out a survey of risk assessments (probability and impact) to obtain a mapping of the position of risks in organizations.
